Research Degrees
These are research master's or doctoral degrees which include a 90+ point thesis component. They involve systematic investigation of a topic within a field, going beyond coursework to include independent study, critical analysis, and original contributions.
The aim is to conduct research, advance knowledge, and prepare for careers in a broad range of areas.
Entry requirements and applying to study
To study at postgraduate level in the Faculty of Engineering, you are expected to have completed a suitable undergraduate qualification. Qualifications required to enrol in each programme are listed in the Regulations.
