The Postgraduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence (PGCertAI) at UC will further prepare your computing skills for industry as we adopt more AI into our everyday systems, from research to healthcare to entertainment and more.
To qualify for entry to the PGCertAI, you will need to have previously completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
You will need to have a B Grade Average in 60 points of your 300-level courses in your previous degree.
If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.

The PGCertAI is made up of 60 points (four courses) in advanced AI topics.
Beginning in either February or July, the Certificate can be completed within 6 months (one semester) full-time, or within 2 years of part-time study.

One course from the above (excluding PHIL425) may be substituted with one of the following (excluding project or research thesis courses):
2024 SSL: $9.17 per point ($1,100.40 for 120 points)
2025 SSL: $9.72 per point ($1,166.40 for 120 points)
You may go onto a Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence or a Master of Artificial Intelligence at UC.
Study with this Certificate will prepare you to meet the demands of industry as we integrate AI into more systems and processes.
Along with the technical knowledge required, you will also build professional skills to help find and implement AI tools in the workplace.
