Technology-assisted Learning Workshops 2026
These workshops are designed for students wanting to use technology to enhance their learning at all stages of their studies:
Specialist software is available for students registered with Student Accessibility Service (SAS). You can either book an appointment with an SAS advisor or ring +64 3 369 3334 for information.
The University of Canterbury offers students a range of assistive technology tools for accessing information, creating and presenting content and undertaking research.
Please be aware that some features within the assistive technology software applications mentioned on this website may be powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and may need approval from your academic department.

The Assistive Technology (AT) team arranges notes support, where possible, for students who are unable to take notes in lectures. To receive this support, students must be enrolled with Student Accessibility Service (SAS)|TRW and are expected to attend all lectures for which note-taking support is provided. If required, lecture notes can also be produced in an alternative format.
