Filmmaking and content creation through Virtual Production allows incredible innovation using real-time technologies to seamlessly integrate digital and traditional production methods.
The Postgraduate Diploma of Virtual Production (PGDipVirProd) extends your capabilities in storytelling, technical design, and virtual production pipelines, culminating in a portfolio of short-form creative outputs and a production-ready concept.

The PGDipVirProd is made up of 120 points, which includes four compulsory courses with a strong focus on applying taught skills to practical, mini projects using UC’s Virtual Production campus.
Beginning in February, the programme will take one year full-time or up to two years part-time to complete.

2024 SSL: $9.17 per point ($1,100.40 for 120 points)
2025 SSL: $9.72 per point ($1,166.40 for 120 points)
UC offers a Master of Virtual Production which includes the same courses as the Diploma, plus an additional semester to complete a major production project.
You can transfer your completed courses in the Diploma to the Master’s degree, with approval.
Practical experience producing a range of content using production tools – from motion capture to green screen, to LED volume and more – gives you a professional competitive edge in the industry.
You will be prepared for roles such as cinematographer, environment artist, creative producer or director, and many more.
