Domestic students
You are a domestic student if you have any of the following:
- New Zealand citizenship (this includes New Zealand citizens born in the Cook Islands, Niue, or Tokelau, and New Zealand citizens by descent)
- Australian citizenship (must reside in New Zealand)
- New Zealand Residence Class Visa (must reside in New Zealand)
- Australian Permanent Residence (must reside in New Zealand)

All students apply to enrol via the online student portal, myUC. You will need to provide personal details in your application, such as your citizenship category, legal name, date of birth, contact details, and academic history, as well as which qualification you intend to study at UC.
