Admission pathways

Admission with University Entrance achieved through NCEA.

Admission with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

Admission with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE/CAIE).

Admission with a qualification from an overseas school or university.

Admission with other NZ secondary school qualifications.

Admission when you've been on an exchange programme in Year 13, have studied IB but not been awarded the Diploma, or have exceptional Year 12 results.

Discretionary Entrance is only available to domestic students.

Admission when you are 20 years or older.

Admission with a home education. 

Transition programmes give you admission to UC if you do not have University Entrance.
