The Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering consists of 120 points made up of:
The programme is completed within 1 year of full-time study, or up to 2 years part-time. Part-time study is only open to domestic students. The PGDipSE can be started in February each year.

To complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering you must complete 120 points including:
All of the following five courses:
AND 30 points from these elective courses in group 1
AND a further 30 points from these elective courses in group 2

2028 tuition fee estimate: $42,200 (120 points)
Graduates of the Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering who can also provide evidence of relevant work experience or demonstrated leadership in extra curricular activities may apply to be admitted to the Master of Software Engineering.
