Deepen your understanding of psychological science and its application in different contexts with UC’s Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Science (PGCertPsycSc).
This Certificate will build your capability in psychological theory and research literacy.

The PGCertPsycSc is made up of a total 60 points, which includes a range of advanced elective Psychology courses.

Note that you will need to upgrade to a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Science and include PSYC678 as one of your electives if you want to progress onto further postgraduate Psychology studies.

2025 SSL: $9.72 per point ($1,166.40 per 120 points)
2026 SSL: $10.30 per point ($1,236.00 per 120 points)
UC offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Science, which includes the same courses as the Certificate, plus an additional semester of electives and a research capstone course.
You can transfer your completed courses in the Certificate to the Diploma, with approval.
UC also offers a Master of Arts (Thesis) and a Master of Science in Psychology or Child and Family Psychology.
Note that you will need to include PSYC678 as one of your electives and upgrade to the Diploma to progress onto further postgraduate Psychology studies.
Graduates of the PGCertPsycSc will be equipped for psychology-informed roles across a range of settings, including public organisations, NGOs, and private companies.
