Results for most undergraduate Semester 1 courses will be released on Friday 5 July. Results release will start from 12 noon and we expect all results to be released to students by Friday mid-afternoon.

You can access results by logging into MyUC login (UC Student Website) and selecting the link “Internal transcript and results”.

If a final grade does not appear on your transcript, please refer to the course information on Learn or contact the department/school for further information. For assistance call the Contact Centre on 0800 827 748 or +64 3 369 4999.

Reconsideration of grades

For up to four weeks after the release of results a candidate may apply to the Examinations Senior Coordinator for a Reconsideration of Grade.

The reconsideration will normally consist of a re-marking and re-counting of the final exam script, together with a recount of the marks awarded for any other items of work. If you have extenuating circumstances which affected your performance in your examination, you should find out about applying for a Special Consideration.

How to apply

Application form: Reconsideration of final grade

The Reconsideration of Grade fee is $84 for each course applied for. This is refunded if your grade is changed.

Find out about Exam-Payment-Options.

Email the completed form to the Examinations Senior Coordinator: examinations@canterbury.ac.nz

Appeal against Reconsideration of Grade

If you have made a Reconsideration of Grade application and have been denied a change of grade you may appeal to the appropriate Dean.

Please apply in writing with supporting documentation to the Examinations Senior Coordinator who will forward your application to the Dean. Any appeal should be made within 10 working days from notification of the initial decision.

There is no additional fee to make an appeal against a reconsideration of grade.

Access to your examinations script

Examination scripts must be preserved by the department for six months from the date of release of results.
