HOW TO APPLY

 

Start times and entry information

The Examination Periods are two weeks in duration. Most examinations will start at 9.30am, 2.30pm, or 6:30pm. 

You may not enter an examination room later than 45 minutes after the start of the examination.

No alternative sitting will be available if you miss your exam or arrive 45 minutes or later after the official start time of your examination. An exception to this is if you have valid grounds as covered under the regulations for Special Consideration.

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Dates

2026

Mid-Year Examination Period: Monday 8 June to Saturday 20 June inclusive.
Saturday 20 June is an exam day.

End-of-Year Examination Period: Tuesday 27 October to Saturday 7 November inclusive.
Monday 26 October is Labour Day public holiday. Saturday 7 November is an exam day.

Examination Timetable Information

The Mid-Year 2026 preliminary exam timetable will be emailed out on the weekend of 21 March.

The Examinations Office will send out your Mid-Year 2026 final Personal Timetable via email the weekend of 30 May.

 

The End-of-Year 2026 preliminary exam timetable will be emailed out on the weekend of 15 August.

The Examinations Office will send out your End-of-Year 2026 final Personal Timetable via email the weekend of 17 October.

 

The preliminary exam timetable includes the date, time, duration and format of your examinations.

The final exam timetable also includes the venue/room and exam conditions.

Ensure you follow your final personal exam timetable email for your confirmed exam venue/room.

 

Expectations

Students are expected to be available to sit their exams at the dates/times scheduled. If you cannot attend your exam as scheduled due to an exceptional reason, please see the Alternative Arrangement information. The fixed application deadline is one month prior to the start of the examination period.

Online invigilated/supervised using Respondus Lockdown Browser & Monitor or Zoom

If you are required to use Respondus, ensure you download this onto your computer and complete the Practice Quiz at least one week prior to your exam. If you are using Zoom, you must download this onto your computer and ensure it is working at least one week prior to your exam.
