5. Add your courses

22 November 2023

Add courses to your application in myUC, selecting the correct occurrence code and location for each course.

HOW TO APPLY
a

Add courses to your application

Courses can be added to your application from 1 October every year for the following year of study.

If you haven't already, add courses to your application in myUC, selecting the correct occurrence (semester and site code). You will normally need to be full-time for your student visa.

Course planning and advice

Email our International Future Students team at futurestudents@canterbury.ac.nz for course planning, prerequisite checks, study pathway advice, or planning a double or conjoint degree.

Requirements

Check that the courses you are planning to take satisfy the requirements of your intended qualification(s). You should also consider your study pathway (for example meeting the prerequisites for future courses).

The Regulations for each qualification can be found on the relevant Qualifications page.

UCIC-taught programmes

If you are studying a UCIC-taught programme, you will be taking courses with a 'V' occurrence code. Select the 'UCIC' site from the dropdown menu to display V occurrences.

TIP: Business Taught Masters (BTM) students will have their courses added by UC Business School staff.

b

Confirm your courses

Your courses and overall programme of study must be approved by the Department or Faculty before you can complete your enrolment.

Check in myUC to see if your course selection has been approved, and then you can attend your enrolment in person session with the Enrolments team.
