A Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (PGDipTESOL) provides advanced knowledge of language development, acquisition, and learning to promote additive bilingualism in diverse and complex educational contexts. Through critical engagement with contemporary issues in language education, policy, and practice, students develop the specialised knowledge and skills to support multilingual learners and create inclusive learning opportunities in local and global settings.
The PGDipTESOL offers two pathway options: a coursework pathway and a placement pathway. Students may choose to extend their theoretical and professional knowledge through advanced coursework or gain practical experience through a supervised placement in a language education setting.
To enrol in the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (PGDipTESOL), you must hold an appropriate bachelor’s degree, with at least a B grade average.

The Postgraduate Diploma in TESOL is made up of 120 points, which includes 90 points of compulsory courses and 30 points of elective courses.
Starting February, July, or November, the Diploma will take 1 year of full-time study to complete or can be completed within 3 years part-time study.
