In the Diploma in Sport (DipSport) you will complete practical study on scientific theories of training and performance and gain the leadership and communication skills to help others achieve health goals or better results in their professional sporting career.
This Diploma is a great option if you want to study a shorter qualification in sport than the three-year bachelor's degree at UC.

The DipSport is made up of 120 points in total, or eight courses. Two compulsory courses will introduce the foundations of sport coaching theory and practice, with practical sessions carried out in a primary school environment. The remaining courses are chosen from a list of elective options which include more advanced topics in sport, health, performance, and recovery.
Starting in February, the Diploma will take one year of full-time study to complete, or can be completed within four years part-time.

UC offers a Bachelor of Sport which includes an additional two years of study with more practical placements and major/minor subject choices (such as sports management and sports coaching) to focus your learning outcomes.
You may choose to transfer your completed courses from the Diploma to the Bachelor's degree, with approval.
