Entry Requirements
To progress to UC through the Dual Degree Programme with Taylor’s University, you will need to:
- complete all required courses at Taylor's University;
- achieve passing grades in all courses completed at Taylor’s University; and
- meet UC’s English language requirement, with an overall IELTS score of 6.0 and no individual band score below 5.5, or an equivalent result in another approved English language test.
Dean's Award
The Dean’s Award recognises high-achieving Taylor’s University students progressing to UC through the Dual Degree Programme.
For the 2027 intake (both February and July), students with a CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 in their studies at Taylor’s University will receive an award valued at NZD $4,000 to support their studies at the University of Canterbury.
