Statement of Intent
"Living at CLV is more than a room.
Our residents are at the centre of all that we do. We are dedicated to creating safe, inclusive and supportive communities with a unique residential life programme designed to help students live, learn and grow.
Our goal is to provide market leading pastoral care that is aligned with our Tertiary Partners and the wider community. Embracing diversity and the culture of both our Māori and Pacific Island residents and our broader international customers, delivering equity to all.
Our processes are built on transparency and continuous improvement and we ensure regular student feedback and contribution.
Each resident is a unique individual and can expect from CLV, an environment that has clear, reasonable and effective practices, and that aligns with the wider pastoral care of our Tertiary Partners, and the Education (Pastoral Care of Domestic Tertiary Students) Interim Code of Practice 2019 as well as the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2016”.
