Arcady Hall (previously Bishop Julius Hall) has a tradition of excellence since 1917. Over the summer period the hall has taken on a fresh new look featuring a new maker-space/hobby lobby that is unique to Arcady Hall. The maker-space includes a lego wall, 3-D printer, sewing machine, and more!
Arcady Hall is a short 7 minute walk through the University gardens to the Puaka-James Hight Library, lecture theatres, Haere-roa (UC Students' Association) and other student facilities.
With a study centre, common room, and a landscaped central courtyard, the hall provides a warm, friendly and fun environment for you to obtain the best academic results and to make lifelong friends amongst the 169 residents and Residential Assistants.
