Our Progammes

UC Business School offers a wide range of taught Master's programmes that are open to students from any study background.

Master of Business Information Systems

Majors: Business Analytics, Technology Management

Duration: 17 months (3 semesters)

It blends business and technology to equip you with the skills to apply and manage technology-based solutions and data insights in business.

Master of Business Management

Duration: 17 months (3 semesters)

It develops essential business knowledge alongside a specialised focus in Management Strategy and International Business.

Master of Financial Analysis

Duration: 17 months (3 semesters)

It strongly emphasises fintech and technology-driven financial practices, and is closely aligned with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) curriculum.

Master of Marketing

Duration: 17 months (3 semesters)

With a strong focus on digital marketing, it prepares you for high-impact roles in branding, consumer insights, digital strategy, and marketing analytics.

Master of Professional Accounting

Duration: 17 months (3 semesters)

Graduates are eligible for provisional membership with globally recognised professional bodies, including CA ANZ, CPA Australia, and ACCA.

Master of Business Administration

Duration: 18 months (4 trimesters)

Tailored for professionals with 5+ years of experience. With strong industry connections and co-teaching from business leaders, it's the most industry-engaged MBA in NZ.

Academic requirements for students from the US

A recognised Bachelor's degree from the US with a GPA of 2.7/4.0 average (B- equivalent)*.

For students who did not meet the requirement: Pathway to Master's degree.

*For Master of Applied Finance and Economics and Master of Business Administration, the academic entry requirement is a GPA of 3.0/4.0 average (B equivalent).

Scholarship Options

Students with a recognised Bachelor's degree from the US and a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above are eligible for the UC Dean's Award (valued NZ$8,000).
