Christchurch is currently in COVID Alert Level 2.

Campus Tours will be resuming on the 17th of September, and we will be following Ministry of Health and the Tertiary Education Commission guidelines. Halls of Residence tours are not operating at this time, and will only resume when Christchurch is in Alert Level 1.

Guided campus tours

Guided campus tours visit the library, bookshop, lecture theatres, the recreation centre, student social and study spaces, and some of our fantastic new learning facilities. Our Tour Guides give insider knowledge of different areas of the university.

Campus tours are scheduled on most Fridays during term time. At other times, you are welcome to take a self-guided campus tour.

Campus tours start at 10am sharp from the Matariki building student services area. Good footwear, weather suitable clothing and snacks help for an enjoyable tour.

Tours are not available on weekends or Public Holidays.

Please contact campustours@canterbury.ac.nz if you require further information.

Please book in with a Liaison Officer if you require course planning advice.
