- Are you a first year undergraduate student?
- Do you board, or live with your family or your friends?
- Join our non-residential hall!
We have an exciting programme planned, please register for UniLife to get started - places are limited so we’ll assess your application and let you know if you qualify.
UniLife is a programme run by students for first-year undergraduate students who do not live in a Hall of Residence. The programme is designed to optimise your success by facing common challenges together and sharing strategies to combat common pitfalls. Programme members are assigned to a team of approximately 12 other students in a similar degree programme. Student Leaders organise regular events and activities for their team that provide a fun, social space for students to make connections. Your Student Leader will help you in setting goals and checking-in throughout the year on your progress. UniLife helps you get connected with the clubs and societies that are right for you, and guides you on when and how to seek help when the going gets tough. Entry criteria applies.
The programme includes:
Regular social events (during term time)
UniLife participants are invited to social events throughout the year. It could be a social quiz night, guest speaker from the community or industry partner, or a have-a-go session.
Pre-arrival support and orientation
We’ll use the information supplied in your registration to group you with other students who share your interests and circumstances so you make meaningful connections. There will be several opportunities to connect with your group prior to, and during Orientation to get you on track for a great year.
Setting goals and getting connected
The support doesn’t stop at Orientation. Your student leader will help you in setting goals and checking-in throughout the year on your progress. UniLife helps you get connected with the clubs and societies that are right for you, and guides you on when and how to seek help when the going gets tough.
