Civil and Natural Resources Engineering
Civil and Natural Resources at UC is rated 8th in the world of civil engineering schools (based on the Academic World Ranking of Universities) http://www.shanghairanking.com/Shanghairanking-Subject-Rankings/civil-engineering.html. A qualification from us is recognised globally, will open doors to employment on projects all over the world and has an international reputation that is the envy of other universities. UC offers the only Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Natural Resources in New Zealand. We are one of just two departments in the southern hemisphere offering postgraduate Fire Engineering.
Our graduates are making the world a better place. Students typically receive job offers before graduation. Our range of internationally recognised postgraduate qualifications is broad and flexible to allow for the different needs of working engineers. International students pay domestic fees for postgraduate study, making the qualifications good value.
We offer two BE(Hons) disciplines, Civil Engineering and Natural Resources Engineering.
