English language requirements for postgraduate qualifications - Level 2

HOW TO APPLY

To study a postgraduate qualification at UC you must achieve the minimum requirements in one of the following English language tests:

 

English testMinimum requirements
CAE or CPEOverall score of 185 with no section less than 185.

CCEL EAPLevel 2 with a minimum A grade.

FluentIQOverall mark of 8/10 with nothing less than a 7 being scored in a single category.

IELTS AcademicAn average score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

LanguageCertC1 Expert IESOL (LRWS) with HIGH PASS and no less than PASS in each skill or C2 Mastery IESOL (LRWS) with PASS and no less than PASS in each skill.

Pearson Test of English (Academic)PTE with an overall score of 65 and no PTE communicative skills score below 58.

TOEFL iBTTotal minimum score of 100, minimum score of 23 in reading, writing and listening. Please note UC only accepts TOEFL iBT scores from a single test date, not MyBest scores.
Providing evidence to UC

If you receive an Offer of Place that is conditional on you passing an English language test, please upload your test results on the 'Information Required' page in myUC.  This will notify the Admissions team that you have uploaded your evidence.
