Assessment and Evaluation for Schools

For Primary and Secondary schools measuring pupil progress with comprehensive online feedback. Value-added assessment provides a way to analyse test data that can measure teaching and learning. Starting with a baseline assessment and a large national sample, we can statistically predict the amount of growth those students are likely to make in a given year.

Entrance tests in English, maths and reasoning skills, administered prior to entry into Year 7 or Year 9.  Each year the Centre for Assessment and Monitoring (CAM) administers about 50,000 entrance tests for New Zealand schools.
