This scholarship encourages and supports UC doctoral students who have submitted their thesis for examination and wish to continue to work with their supervisors to prepare and submit papers based on their thesis work for publication in high-impact peer-reviewed journals of international standing.
The following will be considered when awarding a scholarship:
- Quality of research
- Likely journal of publication
- Engagement of the applicant’s supervisor in the paper preparation; and
- UC’s research strategy.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to the value of $3,500 and recipients must submit the paper for publication within three months of accepting their scholarship.
