Overview:

The 26rd annual New Zealand meeting on the interface of mathematics and biology in the study of phylogeny, genome analysis and molecular evolution will be held at Ahuriri, Napier.

Ahuriri is one of the earliest settled areas in Napier and is a place of great cultural and spiritual significance. It’s sheltered waters offered safe mooring for sailing ships in the 19th and 20th centuries, is found adjacent to the West Quay Precinct and bustles with cafes and restaurants.

The programme for Deco 23 will run from Midday Tuesday to Midday Friday.

Monday 6th is Waitangi Day, which is a public holiday in New Zealand, so the weekend prior to the conference will be a long weekend.

Registration is now closed, please email p.j.lockhart@massey.ac.nz to be put on a wait list in case of cancellations.
