The 18 UC Commitments Summer Scholarships give students the opportunity to undertake a short-term research project aligned with UC’s three Research Commitments over the 2026/27 summer.
Each scholarship is worth $8,500 tax free for 10 weeks of research (350 hours), averaging 35 hours a week.
The scholarships are ideally suited to third or fourth-year UC students who have an excellent academic record, relevant prerequisite knowledge, and intend to enrol in postgraduate study within 12 months of completing the scholarship.

Applications will be considered as they are received from 13 September and will close once each position is filled, or by 25 September at the latest.
