Kia ora koutou,
UC staff who are members of the TEU or PSA unions intend to strike on Wednesday 21 October from 1.15pm–5.00pm.
What this means for you
Access to UC libraries will be affected:
· Puaka-James Hight Central Library will remain open.
· Library information desks may be unstaffed.
· The Engineering & Physical Sciences (EPS) and Macmillan Brown Libraries will be closed from 1pm–5.15pm.
Information on all campus study spaces can be found here.
The University continues discussions with the unions to address the issues raised and work towards a resolution.
I know changes to your learning and study can be disruptive, and I appreciate your understanding.
Ngā mihi,
Paul O'Flaherty
Executive Director of People, Culture and Campus Life
