Hosted in Aotearoa New Zealand for the first time, the conference is all about improving how universities teach and how students learn. The theme, Exploring the Changing Landscapes of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, focuses on new ideas, technology, and inclusive teaching approaches that help students succeed.
Two UC academics, Professor Ben Kennedy and Associate Professor Chris North, are part of the organising team, both known for making learning more engaging and accessible. UC’s own Kia Angitu student success programme and its Analytics for Course Engagement (ACE) system are also being highlighted as leading examples of student support.
