150th Te Kakau a Māui scholarships

To celebrate our 150th year at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury, we are offering a further 150 Te Kakau a Māui scholarships in 2024.

The scholarships cover full fees and support programme for one undergraduate degree for students from decile 1-7 Te Waipounamu|South Island schools and who are committed to making positive change in the world. 

Positive change can include: cultural, economic, environmental, political, and/or social change.

Successful applicants will be able to access a range of support to ensure they thrive and succeed in their studies at UC.

Applications open here 20 June 2023 and close 15 August 2023.
