Despite their different backgrounds, Yasaman and Liam were both drawn to study Law for its ability to make a significant impact on the world. Having arrived in New Zealand as a refugee, Yasaman chose to study Law and Criminal Justice to help those in situations similar to hers, while Liam is pursuing Law with the goal of helping his iwi grow and thrive.
