Decide on a qualification

There's a lot to think about before you choose the UC qualification you want to study. Here are some tips to help you find the path that's right for you. Take your time to decide on a qualification.

Search and apply for scholarships

Scholarships, grants, and awards are a great way to fund your studies. UC offers a range of scholarships that recognise factors such as academic excellence and sporting achievement.

Apply for accommodation

Deciding where to live in your first year at UC is almost as important as deciding what you want to study. If you want to live in a hall of residence, you'll need to apply. Find out how to apply for accommodation at UC.

Plan your courses

Some degrees are quite prescriptive about which courses to take and mean your first year is mostly filled with compulsory core courses. Other degrees give you more flexibility about which courses to choose.

Submit your application and courses

Hopefully you’ve decided what degree you want to study next year and received some course advice from UC's Future Students team or a student advisor. When you've decided, submit your application and specify the courses you want to take.

Study for exams - but don't stress

Exam time can be stressful. It's important to take good care of yourself during this time. We hope these simple tips and tricks help you keep on top of your revision and do as well as you can in your exams. Good luck as you study for exams!

Relax and get ready for UC

Your first year at university will be an experience of a lifetime! You'll make new friends, learn interesting stuff and try new things. You'll probably also face a few challenges along the way - so making the most of your holiday time to refresh and re-energise is important. Read more about how to relax and get ready for UC.

Accept your Enrolment Agreement

When you've met all your entry conditions (such as gaining your University Exemption), you'll receive an email with your offer and Student Agreement. This provides an itemised statement of the courses you've chosen and your payment options. See how to accept your offer and finalise your enrolment agreement.
