Literacy in Education

• Study the foundations of literacy development, writing, and literacy difficulties 
• Explore global literacy instructional practices 
• Examine how reading and writing are developed within different contexts and across different written languages.  
• Select topics including dyslexia identification and intervention, enhancing reading development, structured literacy systems, and meeting the needs of students with learning difficulties. 
• Develop advanced knowledge of theories, methodologies, research and pedagogies in literacy learning, literacy difficulties and educational practice in literacy.
