The Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Registered Nurse Prescriber) equips registered nurses with the clinical skills to become Registered Nurse (RN) Prescribers and work as part of a collaborative team to assess and monitor patients with long-term or speciality conditions.
The programme is offered online through Tuihono UC | UC Online with onsite intensives at our Ilam or Manawa campuses for some courses.
The PGDipNurs is made up of a total 120 points, which includes four compulsory courses that include a minimum of 150 hours clinical practice.
Beginning in February or July, the programme will take 1 year full-time, or 2 years part-time.
