Develop expertise to become an accredited clinical exercise physiologist with UC's Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Exercise Physiology (PGCertCEP).
This programme is designed for those from previous health or sport studies to learn how to design and deliver exercise-based interventions and lifestyle support for people managing or at risk of illness, injury, or disability.
The programme is offered online through Tuihono UC | UC Online, with a total 10 days onsite in Ōtautahi Christchurch for practical learning and tests.
The PGCertCEP is made up of a total 60 points, which includes two compulsory courses. Up to 10 days are also spent at UC's campus to complete practical skill applications and tests.
Beginning in February or July, the programme will take 1 year part-time to complete (up to a maximum of 2 years).
