Building on your existing knowledge in health or sports science, the MCEP will equip you with the skills to work autonomously as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in allied health teams.
Graduates can apply to Clinical Exercise Physiology New Zealand (CEPNZ) to register as a professional membership as a qualified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Pathway 3, Alternate). Graduates may also be able to apply for professional registration with other international bodies in Australia, USA, and the UK (eg, ACSM, ESSA, CEPUK).
As an MCEP graduate and accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist you will have the ability to critique and resolve complex health presentations, and improve health outcomes for individuals, whānau, and communities through exercise physiology.

The MCEP is made up of 180 points. You can start the MCEP in February each year. The programme can be completed within 3 years part-time.
