EPECentre is involved in the following programmes:
- Working on power electronic super-conducting electric motor drives as part of the MBIE-funded Programme “High power electric motors for large-scale transport” led by Victoria University of Wellington. This is a 7-year programme (2020-27) funded through the Strategic Science Investment Fund (SSIF) on Advanced Energy Technology Platform (AETP).
- Working on magnetic circuits and instrumentation as part of MBIE Endeavour Research Programme "High magnetic field electric propulsion for space efficiency" led by Victoria University of Wellington. This is a 5-year programme (2020-25).
- Working on High temperature aerospace brushless motor.
