UC is working with Qufu Normal University (QFNU) in China on a new joint education programme in mathematics.
The programme will create an exciting opportunity for students to learn in both China and New Zealand with studies starting at QFNU before they transfer to UC to complete their degrees.
Co-designed and co-taught by academics from both universities, the programme helps students build knowledge and experience as part of two international learning communities.
This partnership will also create opportunities for research, cultural exchange, and shared learning, strengthening the University’s global connections.
A UC group led by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Innovation Professor Lucy Johnston, visited Qufu last week to officially open the partnership.
International students bring diverse, fresh perspectives that enrich the UC student experience, and we look forward to welcoming our Qufu students to campus in the near future.
