You can help by ringing UC security immediately if you see any suspicious behaviour on campus and by knowing how to best secure your bike, car or other vehicle
UC Security is taking a number of anti-theft measures, including offering D Locks to UC staff and students at cost price (currently $45). Go to the security office to take advantage of this offer.
UC Security works closely with the local Police and advises staff and students to take precautionary action endorsed by the Police.

Use a steering lock – even older cars can be targeted
Mopeds – love it? Lock it!
Use a disc lock to secure the front brake disc
Use a grip lock to secure brakes and throttle controls
Thread a chain lock through the back wheel
