Welcome Day takes place the Friday before term starts and is a chance for new students to get familiar with the campus, ask questions, meet people and get sorted for day one at UC.
The event is exclusive to new students but there is also an opportunity for parents/whānau to find out more about the University with a range of special orientation events designed for them.
Most sessions will be available to watch on demand post-event.

Fine Arts: For students starting a Bachelor of Fine Arts, there won’t be a specific Welcome Day session. This is because your first full week at university will be dedicated to introducing you to the staff, studios, and facilities within your programme. It is still encouraged that these students attend Welcome Day to explore campus and learn about support and services available.
