Throughout the COVID-19 lockdown period and for the remainder of Semester 1 we have had fines turned off (or waived) to accommodate the needs of people unable to make it to campus to return items.
To prepare for a more normal Semester 2 teaching environment and help us make sure requested/recalled and high demand items are returned for other borrowers waiting for them, we will be reinstating fines from Friday 10 July.
To avoid fines for your overdue items we recommend renewing items if you can, or returning them before 10 July.
Due to the way our library management system works, any overdue items returned after 10 July will set fines for the whole overdue period (not just for the overdue days from 10 July).
