About the Event
Calling all mechanical and mechatronics engineers, students and UC staff. On the 5th of August, the annual Engineering Industry Connect will be held in the Rātā Building at UC. This event aims to bring together practising engineers, students, and UC staff to build connections and explore possible opportunities for collaboration in the future.
For students, this event aims to provide you with an opportunity to network with engineers working in the mechanical, mechatronics, aerospace, and biomedical spaces. It is also an opportunity to talk to academics and technical staff about possible research projects as well as fellow students who are at different stages of their degree.
For practising engineers, this event is a great opportunity to meet students and share your perspective of what it is like working as an engineer, and to give advice to the next generation of engineers. The event will also be a useful opportunity to learn about what the mechanical and mechatronics student-led clubs are doing. The event will also be a useful opportunity to learn about a variety of ways the industry can collaborate with the university and support the next generations of engineers.
