Why try Yoga play?

    Take your practice further and explore your limits! Each term will have a specific focus e.g. Splits, handstands, arm balances, and inversions. 

    Term 3 Focus:  Each session will focus on an intermediate/advanced posture. E.g. Splits, Handstand, Standing to wheel...

     

    What to expect in a Yoga Play session?

    • Tackle more challenging variations of poses in regular classes when the opportunity arises
    • Learn those poses safely (as they won't be taught in regular timetabled classes)
    • Find new and interesting ways to get in and out of poses
    • You've always wanted to be able to bust out a handstand!

     

    What you need to know

    • Open to everyone, no membership required.
    • The course runs for 5 weeks, 1 session per week.
    • Equipment provided. Bringing your own mat is recommended.
    • Location: MindBody Zone - UC RecCentre
