Anyone parking on campus, whether staff, students, or visitors, must have a valid parking permit. Parking enforcement applies weekdays between 8am and 5pm. You can find more information about the different permit types and how to pay from the options below.
New Parking System FAQ's
A. Salary deductions are no longer an option you will be dealing with a third-party provider for parking payment.
A. There will be a 20-minute grace period to allow users to get to a computer to make payments, you will also be able to access the payment portal via your mobile devices.
A. Yes, for weekly, monthly and quarterly E Permits you can manage the vehicle you are bringing to the site via the E Permit portal.
A. No, for security reasons you are required to enter your payment card details every time you purchase a Staff, Student or Casual permit.
A. Under the E Permit system for Staff and Students, you can only have one vehicle at a time on campus, if you are purchasing via PayStay (casual parking permit) you are able to have multiple vehicles on site.
A. We will no longer be Wheel Clamping (unless it is a special circumstance), we will now be issuing infringement notices
- if the infringement notice is paid within 14 days of issue there will be a $15 discount,
- after that point a notice will be sent and you will have 28 days from the date of the notice to pay the full amount of the infringement,
- if unpaid you will receive 2 further notices each allowing 28 days to pay, these notice will have added administration fees
- if you fail to pay by the expiry date of the 3rd notice, the infringement will be forwarded to a debt collection agency
A. Yes, you can appeal the infringement by via a self-service portal available on the parking webpage.
- the appeal period is the first 14 days plus the 28 days of the 1st warning notice, this allows 42 days to lodge an appeal
- the infringement notice will freeze in place while the infringement appeal is being investigated (meaning no further administration costs will be added)
A. The system will notify you, via email, 3 days prior to the expiry of 1 month and quarterly E Permits, allowing you time to purchase a new permit.
A. Daily permit – just for the day of purchase
- Weekly permit – 7 consecutive days from the date of purchase, including weekends and public holidays.
- Monthly permit - from the 1st day of the month until the last day of the month (example, March 1 to March 31).
- Quarterly permit – area as follows 1 January to 31 March, 1 April to 30 June, 1 July to 30 September, 1 October to 31 December.
A. Department can continue to use them, they are still valid, or they can return them to the security office for a refund.
