Award Descriptions

Recognising alumni aged 35 or younger who have made significant contributions in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, through creating or growing successful ventures, developing new technologies or products, or promoting innovation in their industry. Recipients of this award will have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and have a passion for innovation and bringing new ideas to life.

Recognising alumni aged 35 or younger who have made significant contributions in creative fields such as art, music, theatre, design, film and other related industries. Recipients of this award will have demonstrated outstanding talent and will be positively contributing to the advancement of their respective field.

Recognising alumni aged 35 or younger who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation and impact through personal or professional endeavours in a global setting. Recipients of this award will excel in their chosen field and will have made a significant contribution to their profession or community internationally.

Recognising alumni aged 35 or younger who are making or contributing to positive change in the community. Recipients of this award will be making a meaningful difference and will demonstrate a deep commitment to improving the lives of others through volunteer work, community service, advocacy, or philanthropy.

Recognising a current University of Canterbury student who has demonstrated exceptional potential in leadership and community impact. Recipients of this award will have empowered and inspired others and will have a demonstrated desire to create positive change.
