Acknowledgements

Our thanks go to the many generous donors who support the Logie Collection, and make exhibitions such as this possible. In the case of the cast collection, we acknowledge particularly the enthusiasm and generous assistance of Colin Joyce.

Our appreciation is extended to staff members of tertiary institutions, galleries, and museums throughout New Zealand, who have aided in the search for casts throughout the country. Our thanks also go to Canterbury Museum (Sarah Murray), Otago Museum (Moira White), Te Papa Tongarewa, Auckland University (Anne Mckay), and Victoria University (Judy Deuling), for supporting the research efforts of our interns, and providing information and images about relevant objects in their collections. We also thank Professor Alan Shapiro of John Hopkins University for taking the time to share his memories about the beginning of the Logie Cast Collection.
