Research interests:

Graph theory and formal logic, with a focus on substructural logics and their proof theory.

Academic history:

I started my academic journey at the University of Canterbury through the University's STAR program. I then enrolled at the University of Canterbury in 2021 and completed my first degree–a Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science and Philosophy–in 2023. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematics and Philosophy in 2024, during which I wrote my thesis “Logics Without Exchange” under the supervision of Dr. Jack Copeland. Later that year, I began my ongoing Master’s of Science thesis in Mathematics with Dr. Jeanette McLeod and Dr. Phil Wilson.

Professional history:

I currently work as a research assistant for Maths Craft NZ and as a tutor for the University’s School of Mathematics and Statistics and Pacific Development Team. Outside of the university, I volunteer weekly at an adult literacy and numeracy class and work as a substitute Future Problem Solving coach at Cashmere High School.
