Research title : Evaluating cascading climate impacts on the social/human sphere

Research interests:
Darcy is interested in modelling how climate change will impact people's daily lives. Her initial focus is on how climate change might disrupt access to essential services, such as primary healthcare. She is also interested in the impact of climate migration and ways to prevent anti-immigrant sentiments.
Personal interests:
Darcy is grateful for the opportunities to go hiking around Aotearoa, and has enjoyed exploring all Christchurch has to offer. She loves tea, 5k’s, and attempting to keep houseplants alive.
