UC Administered Scholarships
Go Waitaha Canterbury Scholarship
Purpose: For students who attended school and/or live outside of the Greater Christchurch area with strong academic potential but who are facing challenges to affording university accommodation costs.
Value: These scholarships offer $15,000 towards accommodation fees plus educational outdoor recreational field trips and a personal and professional development programme in the first year of study.

Helen Macmillan Brown Bursaries
Purpose: To support incoming first-year female students residing in a University of Canterbury affiliated hall or village.
Value: Up to ten bursaries of $2,500 are available.
