Welcome to your new life in Ōtautahi Christchurch!
If you are a new UC international student (or transitioning to campus for the first time), join us for a fun and informative welcome session where you can meet other international students, find out about key support staff on campus, and learn about the many opportunities on offer to you as a student at UC.
Students who are welcome to join this event:
- New international undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Study Abroad and Exchange students
- New Zealand Manaaki Scholarship students
- UCIC, CCEL and other pathway students transitioning to the UC campus
What’s involved?
- Goodie bags!
- A Māori welcome to campus
- International Student Orientation sessions
- Kai (food), music, international support stalls, and the opportunity to make connections with other new students
- An Amazing Race around our beautiful campus, led by student mentors.
When and where?
The International Welcome for Semester 2, 2024 will be held on Thursday, 11th of July. Please book your free ticket here.
