UC's Women in Engineering Society host social and industry events.
STEMinism 2026 will be held on Thursday 25th June 2026
Engineering and technology shape the world around us every day — from renewable energy and medical technologies to sustainable infrastructure and innovative digital solutions.
At STEMinism, attendees will hear from current UC students and women working across a range of engineering and technology industries. The evening will also include an overview of UC engineering and technology degree options, student life, and career pathways.
A live Q&A session will give attendees the opportunity to hear directly from students, academics, and industry professionals about their study and career journeys, industry insights, and experiences in engineering and technology.
Free nibbles and goody bags provided!
This event is co-hosted by UC’s Faculty of Engineering and UC’s Women in Engineering and Women in Technology student clubs. Spaces are limited and registration is essential.
STEMinism will also be livestreamed for students outside of Canterbury and those unable to attend in person.
