As universities expand work-integrated learning (WIL) programmes to enhance students’ skills and employability, they face increased risks such as personal injury and reputational harm. The University of Canterbury has developed a risk-mitigation strategy, including a centralised WIL hub, to support staff, students, and host organisations in managing these risks effectively.
